A Seattle-based company; I was an Immersive Experience Developer for them from August 2016 - April 2017.
-
Developed and edited puzzle contents for several themed puzzle room experiences.
-
Hands on development of physical props used as puzzle components and alternative software interaction tools.
-
Designed live playtest experiments, conducted playtest sessions, wrote session reports with recommendations on how to incorporate player feedback.
-
Facilitated onsite customer experiences, running live sessions by remotely monitoring in-game activities, and interacting with players to provide hints.
-
Developed processes and onboarding documents for running new immersive experiences, such as room reset checklists and issue troubleshooting guides.
I contributed to the initial development, and early post-release iterations of the following rooms:
-
Room 25 Live,
-
Storybook Legends: The Quest for Excalibur,
-
Enigma Box: Dead Man’s Chest,
-
Storybook Legends: Raven and the Red Death,
-
Enigma Box: Winter Wonderland

Sadly, I have very few photos of my finished work, because I was initially told that photos containing puzzle information or that otherwise revealed the room interiors had the potential to spoil the experience of potential customers.
The company shut down sometime during COVID lockdown. Some additional photos still remain on the Company's social media presences, and their Google Maps listing.
